Heat oven to 355°F. Melt butter in microwave. Sift together flour, salt, and baking soda and set aside. Pour melted butter in mixing bowl. Add sugas. Cream butter and sugars on medium speed. Add egg, yolk, 2 T. milk, and vanilla. Mix. Slowly incorporate flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Chill dough. Scoop cookies onto baking sheets with the small scooper. Bake 9 minutes. (Or scoop cookies with large scoop then bake 11 min. at 345.)
