
Ingredients
- 2 3 oz. packages instant vanilla pudding
- 2 c. milk
- 8 oz. cool whip
- 1 box graham crackers
- Frosting:
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/3 c. cocoa powder
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 t. vanilla extract
Directions
- Mix pudding and milk; beat in thawed cool whip. Place a layer of graham crackers (not crumbs) in bottom of 9x13 pan; break or cut sections to fit. Pour 1/2 of pudding mix over crackers; place another layer of crackers over the pudding mix. Pour remaining mix over crackers. Cover with third layer of crackers.
- Frosting: Combine sugar, milk cocoa, and salt. Cook for 1 minute; add butter and vanilla. BEAT MIXTURE with mixer ( I emphasis this because this can be gritty) Cool slightly; pour over crackers. Refrigerate at least overnight. Cut and serve.
