
Ingredients
- 10 lbs crushed tomatoes (canned)
- 1 large onion, finely chopped (white or yellow)
- 1 c. fresh basil, roughly chopped or 1 T. dried basil or italian seasoning
- 6-8 garlic cloves, pressed
- 1-2 t. crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 t. sea salt
- 1/2 t. black pepper
Directions
- Simmer all ingredients in a crock pot on high for 6 hours or 8 hours on low. Cool 2hours and refrigerate. Bag and freeze when cool. Thaw 24 hours ahead of time.
