Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 11 ounce chocolate chips (1 1/2 cups)
  • 40 saltine crackers
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Line jelly pan with foil and spray foil with cooking spray.
  3. Lay crackers flat on foil.
  4. Melt sugar and butter until foamy (3 minutes approximately).
  5. Pour over crackers and spread to coat.
  6. Bake 10 minutes in 350F oven.
  7. Remove from oven.
  8. While hot, sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let soften and melt. Then spread.
  9. Sprinkle with nuts.
  10. Let cool.
  11. Refrigerate until hard.
  12. Break into pieces like peanut brittle.
