
Ingredients
- Fillet mignon steaks
- 1/4 c. salted butter, softened
- 3 T. plain breadcrumbs
- 1 T. horseradish
- 1/4 t. fresh ground black pepper
- 1/8 t. crushed red pepper flakes
- pinch salt
- pinch ground thyme
Directions
- Combine ingredients in a bowl and stir well. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and spread out into thin wafers in the shape of the steaks on waxed paper. Chill until firm. Cook the steaks on the grill to just under medium rare. Top the steaks with the breadcrumb wafers and put under broiler until browned and bubbly.
